BALLARINI PROFESSIONALE E APCI SIGN A PRESTIGIOUS COLLABORATION AGREEMENT
ACPI (the Association of professional Italian Chefs) welcomes Ballarini Professionale. This prestigious group, which involves thousands of professional chefs, has chosen to work actively with the new branch of Ballarini with the express aim of increasing its wide range of institutional, educational, cultural and social activities.
Training events have been scheduled with the Educational research centre of culinary arts in the new Milan branch, organised in close collaboration with the association’s official magazine, “L’Arte in Cucina” (“Art in the kitchen”).
The first gathering, signalling the beginning of this new partnership, was held in March, in Perugia to mark the national “Ercole Olivario” competition, which saw 100 chefs receive restaurant stars (“Stelle della Ristorazione”) during a professional prize-giving ceremony at the Hotel Plaza in Perugia.
The aim of ACPI, according to director Carlo Re, is to recognise and lend value to those who work professionally and passionately in the field of catering every day.
Added value was brought to the, already ambitious, official gathering of white-caps, where over 100 professional chefs, from Italy and beyond, met with the largest and most important extra-virgin olive oil producers from around Italy.
Carlo Re continued – special thanks should go to all the companies and institutes who participated, because the high level of products available here has helped to turn this event into an excellent professional and educational moment. During this gathering, we aimed to develop a highly-innovative restoration project, Ballarini professionale Alta Cucina (High Cuisine): over 800 articles, 14 product lines, 150 different product styles, four types of anti-stick coating, all alongside motivated, humane and professional staff involved in the catering business.
Ballarini Professionale rewarded each Restaurant Star with a professional, limited edition, numbered cooking-pot.
